As of Tuesday morning, Oct 13, Greene County currently has 158 confirmed cases of Covid-19, an increase of one, reports Greene County public health director Becky Wolf. Eighty-three people have recovered; 53 percent had no pre-existing conditions; and 33 percent had no symptoms. There have been no deaths attributed to Covid-19 in the county.
The average rate of positive cases over the past 14 days has increased to 9.3 percent. Days to double has has remained at 27.
Breakdown for age groups for positive cases:
- 0-18 years: 15 percent
- 19-39 years: 35 percent
- 40-59 years: 35 percent
- 60-74 years: 15 percent
- 80 and older: 2 percent
Wolf reminds all county residents to “mask up” when leaving home and to get a flu shot in the next few weeks.
